Strawberry Ice Cream!
You know you want some...

Monday, November 14, 2005

I ate about a gallon of ice cream in the past three days.

Safeway was having a sale, and Dreyer's ice cream was 'buy one, get one free' so I couldn't very well just buy one, now could I? I got one box of strawberry ice cream (but of course) and the second of vanilla bean. I would just like to say that Dreyer's ice cream is incredibly soft. You know what I mean by soft? Almost like whipped cream. Mmm... Still, the strawberry was not quite as good as the Tillamook brand, but the vanilla bean made up for it. And yes, Pat, there is a difference between vanilla and vanilla bean.

Anyway, I had a three-day weekend, and I spent a lot of it eating ice cream. I told Cynda that the best way to eat ice cream would be in a jacuzzi or bathtub, so you wouldn't get cold. So then we decided that on Saturday night, we'd both eat strawberry ice cream in the bathtub. When it came time, Cynda did not want to take a bath, but we still sat in our respective bathtubs eating ice cream, except we were fully clothed. I suppose that defeats the purpose, but it was actually quite comfortable.

So that's my story. The end.

I have taken to adding strawberries to vanilla ice cream and mixing it to resemble strawberry ice cream.

It is soooo good.

True story.
